I've have every earpiece Aliph has produced and can say that this one is beyond a doubt the best to date. In fact, I wouldn't say I was particularly pleased with any of their previous efforts. I felt they were better than the competition but left a lot lacking. The Era is louder than the Icon and the extra length helps it stay in contact with the cheek where the Icon was a bit short.
